Why we do it this way
Everybody has the same appliance repair story. A tech comes out, pokes around for ten minutes, says it is probably the control board, orders one, comes back a week later, installs it, and the machine still does not work. You paid for the board anyway.
That is not dishonesty, usually. It is guessing. And guessing is what makes this trade expensive and slow.
So we changed the order of operations. We find out what is actually wrong before we drive out, quote it once, and bring the part with us.
We are based on Van Dyke in Warren, we are family-run, and we cover Macomb County, Michigan. The person who diagnoses your appliance is the person who fixes it.

The part nobody puts on a website
We will talk you out of repairs. Regularly. If your machine is old enough and the failed part is expensive enough, the maths stops working, and you are better off putting that money toward a new one.
Saying so costs us the job. It is also the only reason anybody calls us back, and the reason a lot of our work comes from someone telling their neighbour.
